We respect your privacy and guard it closely so we will only ask you for information that will help us to care for your animals more effectively and we will only process your information with that purpose in mind.

Who are ‘We’?

The Oak Veterinary Group is an independent Vet group in West Wales. Our registered address is Prendergast Place, Haverfordwest, SA61 2PL .

What information do we hold?

Information that we will collect includes your name, addresses, telephone numbers, email address, your (farm) holding number, Herd numbers, Eartag numbers and your pets information. We hold this information in order to correctly identify your animal/s, to be able to contact you about your animals, to send you reminders about your animals, to send you information that may be relevant for your animal or to enable you to access our on-line booking service (Small animal clients only).

How do we store your information?

Signed forms such as registration forms or consent forms are scanned on to a secure digital system. The paper copy is then destroyed. If we need to keep a paper copy, we will inform you.

Any paper copies that contain client information are held secure under lock and key.

Digital information is held within the Robovet system or on encrypted hard drives.

Who do we share information with and why?

We may share your information with insurance companies, Microchip companies, laboratories, charities, APHA, Iechyd Da and debt collection agencies in order to care for your animals. We do not share your information with companies who are not directly related to the care of your pet.  We never sell your information.

How can you update the information we hold?

You can view and amend your information and your contact preferences through our website, www.oakvetgroup.co.uk . You will need to register using your email address to access this service.

You can also phone us or visit us in person at any of our branch surgeries to update your information.

You can request that we amend or delete your information by emailing us at practicemanager@oakvetgroup.co.uk.  If you would like to email us, please title your email as ‘GDPR compliance’.
